Every year, Equites Horses offers an exclusive collection of dressage foals for sale. Our foals hail from some of the best damlines in Europe — including multiple champion horses, Hanoverian and Oldenburg champions, licensed stallions and successful Grand Prix level sporthorses.
Our operation was established with our partner Jochen Dittmer, and is based in Germany, close to the Hanoverian Verband, in Verden. Our breeding mares are the result of three generations selective breeding whose lineage can be traced back to the mid-19th century, when farming horses were being transitioned into athletic riding horses. This was done mainly with the influence of Thoroughbreds.
These days, Equites Horses is wholly focused on breeding complete and modern dressage horses. We are of the opinion that a complete dressage horse is defined by three criteria: three good gaits, good conformation and a good character to ensure rideability.
For the 2024 breeding season we are able to offer various foals for sale from the stallions:
- Vitalis: well known and proven sire which produced multiple licensed stallions and successful dressage horses.
- Vitalos: winner at the Hanoverian Championships and at the Bundeschampionate. And two times reserve champion at the World Championships for young dressage horses.
- Fynch Hatton: winner at the Oldenburger Championships and at the Danish Championships.
- Pride: sired by the stallion Secret and awarded premium stallion at the KWPN stallion licensing of 2022.
- Straight Horse Leonardo: sired by the stallion Lord Europe who was reserve champion at the Nürnberger Burg Pokal. This stallion is bred by the famous Straight Horse stud.
- Du Monde: sired by the Olympic Grand Prix stallion Desperados and from the dam Loreley which was successful at Oldenburger mare championships (Brilliantring Stute at Rastede).
- Despacito: winner at the Hanoverian Championships and a proven sire which produced multiple champion foals.
